Movie review of philadelphia
Gay or homosexuality is no longer a new vocabulary to us; this movie of <<Philadelphia>>indicates the homosexuality and HIV/Aids. It is written by Ron Nyswaner and directed by Jonathan Demme. As a famous movie in 1993, this movie was propably the best drama regarding gay issues ever made, the orignial story was about the story of Geoffrey Bowers, a lawyer who in 1987 sued the law firm Baker & McKenzie for unfair dismissal in an AIDs discrimination. Through this movie, it gives us an idea of how to treat homosexuality or Aids in a right way and tells a story that makes you cry.
Andrew beckett(Tom hanks) was a senior lawyer at one of the largest law firm in philadelphia, As a young and wonderful lawyer, he got an opportunity to sign the newest and most important case and being more famous. But this whole dream was distoryed as the firm realizes Andrew was an Aids patient and had hiden his homosexuality for long time.they fired him as a result of that.In order to sue this unfair or illegal dismissal, Andrew tried to find another law firm to help him. But as other lawyers know he was an Aids patient. It was unable to find a lawyer represent him as they refused to accept his invite, But finally a man called Joe Miller(Denzel Washington) decided to do this job. Through this part of movie, it clearly shows a situation that in 1993 majority people had a deep fear of Aids and so they could not accept homosexuality.
During the trial of this special case, the arguments between lawyers indicated a serious social problem of prejudice on homosexual and Aids. But not only limited in the case of “unfair dismissal”. Before the court, the partners of firm decided to take the stand, each claiming that they fired him was not a reason of his Aids. But in reality, it was not true. In this case, this special case turned to more public and Andrew seemed to represent the homosexuality and Aids in society. At the end of the trial, Andrew collapsed and during his hospitality. Joe did a great job and the jury voted in his favour that Andrew won the case at the end of his life.
Over all, this movie is obviously sad, It gives out a powerful idea in dealing with the homosexuality and Aids, which deals the judgement that people couldn’t handle when AIDS or homosexuality became a known word. And this movie has done great job in explaining in this case.

Helio,
a very good job to attempt to say what has changed: word usage in the opening.
Also, good comprehension demonstrated.
To improve: you have some grammar to improve.
What your useage of verbs “give” and “got”–we do not use them as often as you do in this piece.
Good effort!
