   Obviously, Rapid development of both technology and humanity has taken very important role in participating changing the society. In terms of the vocabulary “ change”, in this case, the change is mainly represented on the economy and living standards, which leads to a huge change in our society. In one word, development of human beings causes “social change”.

          Just according to the factor mentioned in first paragraph, Development is usually defined as a positive change; here particularly means the economic development. In order to explain why economic development will cause a social change, there is a typical example to comment: From 1840 to 1949, China experienced nearly one century of suffers. As western countries operated land settlement policy in the early 19-century, China was half-colonized from 1840 until 1949(two governments during that time). In that case, as a result of poor and laggard, the less-developed country was colonized by more-developed country. Hence, the social differences occur between these two types of countries that in developed country, it has a more jural and perfect society than developing country. Because of that, we can assume the social change of one country is proportional to its economic development primarily.

       There is also another important development affecting on the social change. Education has been occurred long time ago, as it takes the role of educating the next generations. In this case, a good education system can give perfect knowledge to children. And the society is turning more knowledgeable by education. Hence, people can aware which is wrong and right, which leads to a decrease in crime rate and also live harmony and peacefully.law is a production of knowdge development in this case.

    But still someone may say, Even in America the most developped country, Why there are still such a high crime rate compare to less developped countries. According to what I have said, there are some other productions of development. A modern life can give us more luxury goods and knowledge but also it indicates a situation of large gaps between poors and richs,and also it’s a negative social change affected by development.

     Overall, developments give the both positive and negative social change to this world, to have a more harmony society that it needs a good policy and education. which can indicates the negative influences of rapid development and reduce them.
